Thermal analysis
Thermogravimetric analyser (Perkin-Elmer TGA7): TGA analyses sample weight changes in sample as a function of temperature or time. Sample size is normally 2-10 mg.
Differential scanning Calorimetric analysers (Metler DSC3+): In DSC, the difference in the amount of heat required to increase the temperature of a sample and reference is measured as a function of temperature. Sample size is normally 2-10 mg.
