Wood products equipment

Our woodworking workshop is equipped with all the necessary woodworking machines, like cross-cut saw, circular saw, bandsaw, board saw, jointer, thicknesser, sanding machines, upright drill and vertical spindle moulder.

We have equipment for making plywood with sheet sizes up to 900x900. This includes conditioning bath for about 10 veneer logs, veneer lathe, dryer for veneer sheets, veneer clipper, glue spreader, pre-press and a hydraulic hot-press.

The veneer lathe is an industrial lathe modernized by Raute in 2006. Maximum veneer bolt length is 1400 mm and the highest peeling speed is 300 m/min. There is a fixed-knife nosebar, automatic centering unit and support device with two non-driving rolls. The lathe includes a modern control unit, which enables easy change of peeling variables.

There is a chip glue spreader too, making it possible to produce particle boards using the hot-press.

UV-exposure equipment Suntest CPS+ can be used to simulate the effect of daylight on different surfaces.
